Result code

Result code

A code which identifies the result of a call made by a predictive dialler solution. Also known as a termination or disposition code. Result codes can be either generated by the dialler, or entered by an agent.

Dialler generated result codes

Call Busy, No Answer, Answering machine detected, Fax detected, Invalid Number etc. These are typically generated as a result of communication with the PSTN which responds to the calls being made by the dialler, although the code for Answering Machine will be the work of the software of the dialler to make the determination.

Agent entered result codes

Sale made, Not interested, Promise to pay, Wrong Number, Deceased etc. These Agent entered codes are usually customer definable with the dialler.
