Maurice Baker (born on July 28, 1979 in Granite City, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player for the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters of the PBA.
Basketball career
Having graduated from Oklahoma State University, Baker spent time in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers.
From 2004 to 2011, he played in the NBA Development League for the Dakota Wizards,[1] and was named to the 2009 NBDL All-Star Game on February 3, 2009 (the Wizards were previously part of the CBA). Additionally, Baker played overseas in Russia, Syria, Lithuania, France and Puerto Rico.
