Diabolos is an album released by Gackt on September 21, 2005 in Japan and on October 26, 2007 in Europe.[1][2] Conceptually, it is a prequel entrant to the 'Moon Project' found in his second and third LPs, Moon and Crescent and the film Moon Child.

- The song "Metamorphoze" was the opening theme song for the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam first movie in trilogy Heirs to the Stars.
- The song "Todokanai Ai to Shitteita no ni Osaekirezu ni Aishitsuzuketa..." was used as the drama Keiyaku Kekkon's theme song.[3]
Reception
Commercial performance
The album managed to break into the Oricon, official chart in the Japan. It peaked at number four and charted for a total of 9 weeks[4], since its release, the album has sold more than 100,000 copies, achieving a gold status in Japan.[5] The single "Black Stone" peaked at number three and charted for seven weeks[6], "Metamorphoze" peaked at number two and charted for thirteen weeks[7], and "Todokanai Ai to Shitteita no ni Osaekirezu ni Aishitsuzuketa..." peaked at number three and charted for nine weeks.[3] All of singles sold more than 100,000 copies, achieving a gold status in Japan.[8][9][10]
