Association football (soccer) in South Australia is organised by Football Federation of South Australia who organise local competitions.

National Representation

South Australia has one team in the A-League named Adelaide United. Adelaide United also have associated youth and women's teams in the National Youth League and W-League.

Fomer Teams

South Australia was previously represented in the National Soccer League by a number of teams including Adelaide City and West Adelaide.

The highest South Australian league is the South Australia Super League. Below the SA Super League in order (from highest to lowest) are the SA Premier League, SA State League and SA Amateur League.
