Outspoken Media is a New York City based full-service entertainment and marketing company, founded and run by an African-American entrepreneur, Terry L. Cyrus. Outspoken Media specializes in film distribution, film finance, and consulting. The Company also provides digital strategy, marketing, publicity, measurement, and creative services that produce successful branding and marketing initiatives for entertainment and corporate brands. Outspoken Media connects brands to urban and multicultural consumers through innovative brand experiences and effective use of the latest digital technologies.

American Black Film Festival

This is the nation's largest African-American film festival. The Company provided publicity expertise that generated positive media and online mentions, increased media impressions, and created awareness for ABFF. Many major media outlets were effectively utilized such as CNN, ESPN, BET, New York Post, and New York Times Magazine. In 2009, the campaign generated over 27 million media impressions.

Codeblack Entertainment

The first independent, vertically integrated African-American owned film studio that produces television programming, theatrical and DVD releases. Outspoken Media implemented a successful email marketing campaign for Shaquille O'Neil Presents: All Star Comedy Jam - Live from South Beach in order to increase consumer awareness. The comedy show was filmed during the American Black Film Festival in South Beach and debuted on the premium cable television network Showtime.

Hpnotiq

The aqua blue drink was dubbed "the drink of choice of celebrities" by WNBC-TV. Outspoken Media was carefully selected to create a cross-cultural branding initiative that targeted urban and multicultural consumers. Outspoken Media hosted a red carpet film premiere in South Beach that successfully integrated their brand message into an exclusive entertainment experience.

Walter Yetnikoff

The former CEO of CBS Records (Sony Music Entertainment) influenced the careers of Michael Jackson, Bruce Springstein, Barbara Streisand, and Billy Joel. After being retired from the music industry for years, Outspoken Media helped relaunch his career by fusing his business expertise with the Hip-Hop Generation. Their consulting services led to Mr. Yetnikoff working with Grammy Award-Winning music producer Rockwilder, among others.
