Released in 1977, This album charted at number eight on the R&B album charts in 1978. Featuring the crossover ballad "It's You That I Need" which charted number one on the R&B charts. If You're Ready (Here It Comes) also charted very well coming in at number fourteen on the R&B charts.

"Silly Love Song" was covered in 1989 by Michel'le on her debut album produced by Dr. Dre.
