Oliver Stark (born Oliver Leon Jones on 27 June 1991) is a London based actor.

Acting career

Stark's acting life began aged 18 when he enrolled at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on a year long acting course. Upon completion of the course, he began taking roles in small scale, unpaid short films. He saw these as a necessary learning curve before stepping up to professional work.

Stark's first professional job was in the UK Film Council funded short film, Follow, directed by Talent Tracked director David Alexander, where he played the lead role of 'Corey'. This job was quickly followed by a small part in Iain Softley's Trap For Cinderella, starring Tuppence Middleton (Tormented, Sirens, Friday Night Dinner) and Alexandra Roach (The Iron Lady, Being Human, The IT Crowd).

He got his first TV job in Casualty (BBC1), playing the lead role of Kyle 'K' DeNane in Episode 12 of Series 26, which will air in November 2011.

He went on to film as the bad guy "Pack Leader" in New Town Film's second feature film, the horror movie Community, starring alongside Terry Bird (Eastenders, The Bill, Peep Show) and Elliott Jordan (Eastenders, My Family, Benidorm). The teaser trailer for Community opened the Film4 Frightfest's All Nighter at VUE in Leicester Square on October 29th 2011.

Stark also played the lead role of 'Samuel' in Alex Clarke's play Seconds, which was voted Best New Play 2010/11 by the Writers Avenue.

Stark is currently in rehearsals for Fifth Dimension Theatre Company's production Fatal Excuses. The play is based on the Greek myth Oedipus and opens in January 2012 at Chelsea Theatre.
