Introduction
Ojuba Linux is an Arabic Fedora-based distribution pre-installed with Arabic/Islamic packages like hijra and minbar, and many patched packages to give better Arabic support (like GNOME Terminal). Ojuba Linux also comes with some third-party packages implementing multimedia support for proprietary formats and proprietary drivers.[1][2][3]
Versions
- Ojuba PC : Based on, and 100%[citation needed] Compatible with, Fedora by Red Hat. Fedora is not as highly prioritized by Red Hat as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) with bug fixes.[4]
- Ojuba server system : It is intended to be Based on CentOS and Compatible with Red Hat Versions, and it's not launched yet.

- Ojuba version 3 is based on Fedora 11
- Ojuba version 4 is based on Fedora 13

Ojuba 4 doesn't have Zekr Quranic study tool pre-installed or LibreOffice /OpenOffice.org for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, and databases.[5]
Ojuba 4 is based on Fedora 13 and from 24 June 2011, Fedora 13 has reached its end of life for updates and support. No further updates, including security updates, will be available for Fedora 13 (and Ojuba 4).[6] Ojuba is a Fedora-based Linux distribution is still active.[7] But if the system isn't updated in the future, the system may become vulnerable to exploits. The Sabily Linux distribution is a operating system designed by and for Muslims and is supported.
