Nuesoft Technologies, Inc. is a health care software as a service (SaaS) company headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, USA. The company develops and sells practice management software for physician practices, university health centers, and medical billing companies. The company also provides HL7 product integration for EMR/EHR systems, laboratory information systems, medical imaging systems and document management systems.[1]Its flagship product, NueMD, is notable for being the first Internet-based, platform independent[2] medical practice management software program.[3]

History
Founded as Persoft Technologies, Inc. in 1993 at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC).
In 1996 changed its name to Nuesoft Technologies, Inc.[6]
Patents
Nuesoft holds a patent detailing a system and method for providing look ahead socket generation.[7]
Major sponsorships
In 2010 Nuesoft became the sole sponsor of the Indian National Racquetball Team.[8] The financial support helped the team attend the 2010 World Racquetball Championships in Seoul, South Korea. Srikaran (Sri) Kandadai, a Nuesoft employee, was selected to represent the Indian National Racquetball team[9], prompting the company to become an official sponsor.
