It is the longest reinforced concrete bridge in the US[2] and was constructed after the June 1, 1957, groundbreaking for 2 rail tunnels to bypass the planned Oroville Reservoir.[3] and the Oroville Dam site was first dynamited on October 12, 1961.[4] Coordinates: 39°43′00″N 121°28′13″W / 39.7166739°N 121.4701438°W[1]
