The project is developed by RWE Innogy, a subsidiary of RWE.
The wind farm will consist of 48 turbines with a total capacity of 295 MW. 6.15 MW turbines are to be provided by REpower.[1] Steel foundations for generators will be supplied by Aker Verdal.[2][3] Power converters will be supplied by Woodward Governor Company.[4] A consortium of Siemens and Prysmian will built the high-voltage direct current submarine cable from the wind farm to the German transmission system operated by Transpower, a subsidiary of TenneT.[5]
