No5 Chambers is one of the largest sets of barristers' chambers in the UK[1] located in Birmingham, with offices in London and Bristol. The current Head of Chambers is Paul Bleasdale QC. The set was short-listed for the Chambers of the Year award at "The Lawyer Awards 2010".[2]

Locations
No5 Chambers is based in central Birmingham at Fountain Court, Steelhouse Lane. The second office is located on Shoe Lane, near Chancery Lane in the City of London. The third office is in Queen Square, in Bristol city centre.
Members of Chambers
At present, No5 Chambers has around 220 barristers, including 27 silks practising across all areas.[3]
The Head of Chambers is Paul Bleasdale QC. The current Deputy Heads of Chambers are Rex Tedd QC and Ian Dove QC. Ralph Lewis QC was the Head of Chambers until he died on 4 July 2010.[4][5]
Richard Jones QC, Anthony Barker QC, Christopher Hotton QC, Mark Anderson, Adrienne Morgan, Lorner Meyer QC, Ralph Lewis QC, Satinder Hunjan QC, and Paul Bleasdale QC all receive particular mention for their work in "The Legal 500".[1]
Notable Cases
- Rex Tedd QC, represented the teacher Peter Harvey who attacked a school pupil with a dumbbell. Peter Harvey was cleared of attempted murder.[6]
- Ralph Lewis QC, Gordon Wignell, Matthew Brunning, and Henry Pitchers won £20m of compensation for 2000 people who suffered chemical burns from several High Street retailers' sofas.[7]
- Anthony Potter, was the prosecution barrister who succeeded in jailing Andrew Baker, the boss of a notorious car clamping company in the UK. He was sentenced to two years in prison for fraud.[8]
- Christopher Hotton QC, successfully prosecuted a babysitting couple who left a three year old boy with more than 70 injuries before he died. They were found guilty of murder.[9]
