News At Seven-Thirty (Chinese: 七點半新聞報道, also known as News At 7:30), is the evening English and flagship national news programme broadcast Monday to Sunday at 7:30pm in Hong Kong by television channel TVB Pearl. News At Seven-Thirty is also for free reviewing on TVB News' website. The programme first aired in TVB Pearl when it launched on November 19, 1967 and is the longest-running newscasts in Hong Kong with News at 6:30 on its sister channel TVB Jade.

News At Seven-Thirty usually broadcasts for approximately 25 minutes, followed later by Weather Report and Earth Live (the latter produced by earthTV).

The theme music used in the newscast is similar to News at 6:30.

History

The first evening news bulletin was launched on November 19, 1967 - TVB Pearl aired at 7:00pm, and after changed news new time. In 1975, moved to 6:40pm and 8:45pm, 6:40pm in 5 minutes and 8:45pm in 25 minutes. In April 3, 1978, was cancelled at 6:40pm, the news moved back to the 7:00pm. In March 7, 1987, was moved to 7:30pm. In December 1, 1988, Monday to Friday the news moved to 7:15pm to 7:55pm, Saturday & Sunday second programmes, moved to 6:00pm and 9:00pm, 6:00pm in 15 minutes and 9:00pm in 30 minutes. In October 6, 1990, was cancelled on Saturday & Sunday at 6:00pm, the news moved back to the 7:15pm. In August 10, 1992, was moved back to the 7:10pm to 7:35pm. In May 31, 1993, was moved to 8:00pm to 8:30pm. In September 18, 1995, was moved back to the 7:30pm to 8:00pm, and now present.

News presenters

Different news presenters are appear on the show each day. The combination is usually one man and one woman. The male anchor also acts as a sports presenter (as opposed to having a separate sports presenter, like on TVB Jade's News at 6:30).
