Nessa Morgan Born Wellington, New Zealand Genres R&B Occupations singing Labels Gotham Records, Probono Records Nessa Morgan is a New Zealand born, Australian R&B singer and song writer[1] based in Sydney, Australia.
Morgan is Māori and was born in New Zealand. She and her family moved to Australia when she was 3 years old. She was bought up in a musical family and in her mid 20s released her debut album, Sex & Poverty.[2][3] The album was recorded at the House of Blues in Los Angeles,[4] was produced by Don Was[5] and debuted at #98 on the ARIA albums chart.[6] She released a second album in 2008 and the first single from that album, "I Like it Like That", was nomination for the best R&B single at the Urban Music Awards.[7]
