He is known primarily for working with Taylor Swift, having produced her albums Taylor Swift, Fearless and Speak Now. The former was also the first album that he produced.[1] He is a 2001 graduate of Lee University.[2]
At the 52nd Grammy Awards in 2010, Chapman won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.[3] Other acts for whom Chapman has produced include The Band Perry, Jypsi, Point of Grace, Shania Twain, and Jimmy Wayne.[4][5] In addition to his production work, Chapman is a session musician who plays guitar, banjo and mandolin.[4]
