Natalie Zina Walschots

Natalie Zina Walschots (born 1983) is a Canadian writer, music reviewer, and producer.

Walschots's first book of poetry, Thumbscrews, won the Robert Kroetsch Award for Innovative Poetry and was published by Snare Books (publishing) in 2007. Her next book, DOOM: Love Poems for Supervillains, is forthcoming from Insomniac Press (Spring 2012).

She completed her MA in English/Creative Writing at the University of Calgary. She has served as the Managing Editor of both filling Station and dANDelion magazines, and is currently the Managing Editor of Canada Arts Connect.

Walschots writes live concert reviews, album reviews, interviews, and articles for Hellbound.ca, Alternative Matter, Angry Metal Guy, and About Heavy Metal. She also curates a heavy metal series, Doomsayers, at the Trash Palace in Toronto, Ontario.

She is co-founder of Golden Spruce Entertainment.
