He did his primary schooling from St Peters and later joined army school RIMC (Royal Indian Military College) .He always wanted to become a fighter pilot . Later he[8] moved back to Mumbai and pursued a degree in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai, Dadar Catering College. After completing his degree Nandish started working at the Taj. Later he also joined call centres to improve his communication skills. He started modelling when he was in 3rd year doing hotel management. He started his career with ramp shows for Anuj Khanna and at the same time did print ads for Aptech.
He is from Rajasthan and had come to Mumbai to complete his higher studies. He wanted to make a career in the service industry, so he enrolled himself for a graduation course in Hotel Management at IHM at Dadar. His parents and his younger brother, Omkar are his family. On how he ventured into acting he was always interested in acting, though making it a career never struck him. He used to spend hours in front of the mirror, striking the right pose, wear the right dress and even pretend to act. I used to dream of the 'Lights-Camera-Action' on sets, the clapboard, everything associated with a shooting. So, may be, acting was in his destiny. He Married His Costar in Uttran Rashami Desai.
