Shri Mukund Lal Agrawal (born January 16, 1902) was Member of Parliament in the first Lok Sabha from Pilibhit Constituency elected in 1952 on Indian National Congress's ticket. Shri Mukund lal was son of Shri Kanhai Lal, a prominent sahukar and social worker in the city of Pilibhit.[1]

Sri Mukund Lal Agrawal attended till High School and Intermediate at Government High School, Pilibhit, which is currently known as Drumand Boys' Government Intermediate College. After passing from there, he attended B.Sc. course from Bareilly College, in Bareilly and then Joined Agra College, Agra for L.L.B., He married Shrimati Ram Rakhi Devi in 1917 at the age of 15 and had two sons from her, both of whom have died, but their families are still residing in Pilibhit.[1]

Shri Mukund Lal Agrawal was an active Advocate and Chairman of Pilibhit Distt. Rural Development Association from 1938 till 1940. Apart from this he was also President of Managing Committee of the Rama Intermediate College, Pilibhit.[1]

He was prominent Indian National Congress leader from Pilibhit city and Suffered imprisonment for participating in Congress Movements in 1941 and 1942–43. He was also elected as member of Uttar Pradesh Assembly in 1941–46 under British Government.[1]

He was elected as first Member of Parliament from Pilibhit Constituency with 43.11% votes on Congress Ticket and defeated his rival contender who was from Socialist Party and received 22.58% votes in the general election held in the 1952
