Club career
In April 2009, Ngassa was invited to trial with English Premier League side West Ham United.[1] On May 21, 2010, Ngassa joined Azam FC for $40,000. This was the biggest transfer move in Tanzanian football. Mrisho Ngassa is currently on trial with Seattle Sounders FC and came on as a substitute against Manchester United in a friendly match. Before being on trial in Seattle, he was on trial at African Lyon.
International career
He was the top scorer in the 2009 CECAFA Cup with 5 goals as Tanzania finished fourth in the tournament. His dribbling skills and speed has helped Tanzania.
