The station is located in Via Montenapoleone at the intersection with Alessandro Manzoni Street, in the city centre of Milan. The stop is located right in the center of the fashion district of Milan. It is near to La Scala and Poldi Pezzoli Museum.
The station, like all the others in Line 3, is underground. In the first projects of the line the station was to be called Manzoni.
