Mukkam is a small town in Kozhikode district, located about 32 km east of Calicut city on the bank of river Iruvanjippuzha - . One of the major tributary of River Chaliyar. Nearby places are Thiruvambady, Omassery, Mavoor, Koodaranji, Areacode, Anayamkunnu and Kunnamangalam. It is under Thiruvambady Assembly Constituency.
