Miss Intercontinental is an annual international beauty contest run by the World Beauty Organization that is located in "Panama City, Panama". The contest was founded in 1973, in Aruba. The current Miss Intercontinental is Jessica Hartman, from United States. She won the title on October 7, 2011.

History
International Teen Princess was a contest that began in 1966 in "Chicago, Illinois", where it was held for four years. In 1970 its name was changed to "World Teen Princess" and held three times in European locations. In 1973 it was changed to two contest; one "Teen Princess" that was countiniued for two times and other "Miss Teenage Peace International" in "Oranjestad, Aruba".
The "Miss Teenage Peace International" pageant was first held in 1973, in Aruba. It was Organized by the local magazine "Amistad", this was the first international beauty contest to be held in Aruba and organized by a local committee. In 1974 its name was changed to "Miss Teenage Intercontinental" and organized by "Rene Lacle" until 1979 that became "Miss Teen Intercontinental". In 1982 its name was changed to "Miss Intercontinental". In 1984 it was discontinued.
Miss Intercontinental pageants were held in various locations around the world from 1985 to 1992. These were not extensively publicized, and data and photographs are scarce or not available. In 1986 a Nigerian organization took over a contest that was named "Miss Africa World"', but in 1987 its name was changed to "Miss Intercontinental". It did In November 1987 but title announced for 1988. The pageant was held until 1991.
In 1991 there were 2 Miss Intercontinental contests; one by Nigerian organizers in Lagos, Nigeria and other by Aruban organizers in Bonn, Germany that was continued until 1992. In 1993 a German organization took over the pageant which has been held in that country until 2003, and afterwards in other countries around the world.
