The Australian Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation is Bill Shorten, who was appointed on 14 September 2010 as part of a Cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Julia Gillard following the 2010 federal election.[1]

The first Minister for Superannuation and Corporate Law was Nick Sherry, appointed following the Labor Party's win at the 2007 election. The ministry is administered through the Department of the Treasury.[2]
