Mina Al-Oraibi is an Iraqi journalist and commentator. She is currently assistant editor-in-chief of Asharq Alawsat and has appeared on international television networks contributing political analysis.[1]

Life and career

Al-Oraibi was born in Sweden and raised in Iraq, Australia, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. She gained a Bachelor of Arts in History from University College London, specialising in Anglo-American relations. Her dissertation for her Master of Arts in History was on the 1958 coup d'état in Iraq.[2]

She has worked as the London correspondent for Al-Hayat newspaper and as the Washington DC correspondent for Asharq Alawsat.
