Biography
Lim was born in 1980 in Tawau, Malaysia,[1] and was raised in Seattle, Washington. After completing his education at Pomona College in Claremont, California, he developed his photographic style immersed in the fashion scenes of San Francisco, New York, Paris, and Tokyo.

Lim is a recognized name in both the American and Japanese fashion markets. His works appear regularly in Numéro Tokyo, and he has shot campaigns for Diesel Jeans, Nike, Fila[2], Azul by Moussy[3] and Champion.[4] Other clients include GQ, Maxim,[5] Vibe, and Vogue. Lim is a member of the new generation of snap-shot aesthetic photographers continuing the style pioneered by William Eggleston, Nan Goldin, and Juergen Teller. Lim has also been published in Commercial Photo.[6]
He is also known for his portraits of American celebrities including Paris Hilton, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Lindsay Lohan, and Jennifer Lopez.
