After rough starts in Madrid, only appearing for Atlético's B and C sides, Falcón joined another club in the city, CD Leganés, but appeared very rarely during a sole second division campaign. Subsequently, staying in the category, he stabilized his career, playing five seasons with Ciudad de Murcia – the club was renamed Granada 74 CF for 2007–08.
Following Granada's 2008 relegation, Falcón joined FC Cartagena in the third level, helping it promote in his first year, and contributing with 29 league matches in the following season, as the Murcia club overachieved for a final fifth place.
In August 2010, aged 31, Falcón returned to division three, joining Real Oviedo.
