Merrimack River Tower

Merrimack River Tower

Merrimack River Tower is a proposed building in Manchester, New Hampshire. The height proposed is to be 479 feet. The building is to be constructed of black New Hampshire granite, and will be a skinny-like tower with a 52 foot tall antenna for the local news station. It will succeed the current tallest building in New Hampshire, which is City Hall Plaza at 275 feet. It is to start construction at 2012 (at the earliest) and finish at 2015 (at the latest). Architect Dak Maconista says that "since this tower will be made out of New Hampshire granite, it will be nearly immune to terrorist attacks and fit the states' spirit".
