Merivale River Origin Carnarvon Range Mouth confluence with the Maranoa River Basin countries Australia Basin area 3,460 km²[1] The Merivale River is a river in the Maranoa district of southern Queensland. The river flows in a southerly direction and joins the Maranoa River west of Injune after rising on the southern slopes of the Carnarvon Range near Mount Moffatt.
Sandy, Box and Smith Creeks are the river's main tributaries. The river's catchment covers and areas of 3,460 km².
