Professional wrestling career
Early career
Megan started training at NWA Florida in 2004, with Erick Stevens and Roderick Strong as her trainers. However, the school closed down a few weeks after she joined.[2] In 2006, she began training again at FXE with Matt Bentley, D-Von Dudley, and Ricky Vega as her trainers.[3] She encountered health problems with her heart a few weeks into it, and needed to put training on hold to have surgery.
The Plastics (2006-2010)
In 2006, Megan brought her friend Riley Nixon into the world of wrestling. The duo would be given the name "The Plastics" by the owner of FXE, AJ Gallant. Megan and Riley would train together and manage many tag teams and singles competitors all over the United States. Megan explained that their characters were "the Barbie dolls that you will never get to play with."[2] Megan and Riley worked their last show together in September 2010. Shortly after, Riley announced her departure from professional wrestling.[5]
Wrestlicious
In 2010, Megan briefly appeared in an episode of "The Lottery Changed my Life" on the TLC Network. In the episode, she appeared alongside Wrestlicious founder, Jonathan Vargas. A few days after the episode aired, it was announced that she would be a part of Wrestlicious season 2.[6]
