The Heartbreak Express is a tag team that have been together since 2000 based in Florida and competing regularly all over the the Southeastern independent circuit and abroad. The team consists of "Superstar" Sean Davis and "Fabulous" Phil Davis. They are former 2 Time Full Impact Pro Tag Team Champions, Former AWA World Tag Team Champions, Former SCW Tag Team Champions (including holding those titles for a record 17 months) and former UXW and Caribbean Islands Tag Team Champions.

The Heartbreak Express are considered to be one of the most colorful and over the top tag teams in all of wrestling due to their pink based ring attire. They are also known for being involved in some of the bloodiest and most violent matches ever seen in the Southern United States. Specifically the Cage of Pain's 1 and 2 matches in FIP from 2006 and 2007 respectively, and their many bloody and brutal battles with their most hated opponents Joey Machete and Shawn Murphy, collectively known as Black Market, also in FIP. They also participated in the Triple Death Match Challenge against Bruce Santee and Jon Davis for UXW as a part of WrestleMania weekend 2008 in Orlando, Florida, in what some called the bloodiest match in the history of Florida wrestling.

The Heartbreak Express have wrestled internationally, including in The United States, England, Austria and The Caribbean Islands. They have wrestled many 'legends' of the sport, including The Rock 'n' Roll Express, The Armstrongs, The Midnight Express, Tully Blanchard, Marty Jannetty, Larry Zbyszko, Kamala, Chavo Guerrero, Abdullah The Butcher, Steve Corino, George "The Animal" Steele and Japan's Osamu Nishimura. They have also wrestled known independent stars such as The Briscoe Brothers, current WWE Superstars Scotty Goldman, Brian Kendrick, Jamie Noble and Montel Vontavious Porter, and current TNA star Jay Lethal.

The Heartbreak Express have wrestled for some of the more major independent promotions in America such as CHIKARA, NWA Florida, AWA Superstars and their 'home promotion' for over five years Full Impact Pro. They have wrestled in some of the most famous arenas in the world including the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California and the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In March 2008 Sean and Phil Davis started managing a new heel stable in Full Impact Pro called Heartbreak Enterprises as a result of losing a feud ending match against Black Market, which stated the losing team would never wrestle again in FIP. which so far includes independent superstars Damien Wayne and Rex Sterling, Pro Wrestling NOAH star Go Shiozaki, along with legends Baby Doll and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine.
