HameedUddin Husammi,Urdu: حميد الدين, (July 23, 1928 – March 12, 2010) was a Indiani Muslim religious scholar [1] followed particularly in South Asia and also among the South Asian diaspora in the Middle East, Western Europe, and North America.[1] Born in Hyderabad Deccan, (today's Hyderabad) in India, the second son of a Maulana Fazil Husami, he is the founder of the DarulUloom Hyderabad, an Branch of the DarulUloom Deoband. He was a regular orator for Friday Prayers at Jama Masjid, Darushifa, Hyderabad until his Death.
