The young goalsneak was Adelaide’s third selection in the 2010 Rookie draft, taken at pick 46.
Jaensch impressed Adelaide scouts after a break-out season with Sturt in the SANFL. Jaensch played 20 league games with the side in 2009 and kicked the winning goal in the preliminary final against Glenelg.[2] Jaensch is an apprentice electrician and supported the Essendon Bombers before changing allegiances to Adelaide after being drafted.[3]
