Australian rules football er in theAustralian Football League .Known around the club as "The
Porpoise ", Porplyzia was drafted by theAdelaide Crows and placed on theirrookie list in 2003 but failed to impress the selectors enough to warrant elevation.He was then delisted and returned to the SANFL with West Adelaide where he showed outstanding improvement, winning the club best and fairest award at the end of 2005. Adelaide rewarded his hard work by reclaiming him in the 2005 pre-season Draft and the midfielder made his AFL debut in Round 5 of 2006 against the
Western Bulldogs , booting 3 goals and went on to play 11 games for the season, the standout being a 25-possession effort against Melbourne in Round 22.He wears the number 40 on his back and is extremely intelligent on the field and recently has been named "Player to watch" for the Adelaide Crows.Graduated from Sacred Heart College in 2002 where he played an integral role in the 20 goal defeat of Victorian school Assumption College.
Tipped by North Adelaide Football Club coach and former crow Andrew Jarman to take out the Adelaide Football Clubs best and fairest in 2008.
