Mark Wright (born 20 January 1987) is a British reality television personality, best known for being a main cast member in The Only Way Is Essex. On 23 October 2011 Wright announced he would be leaving the show after the end of the current series 3. He appeared on Series 11 of the ITV reality TV show, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Career

Before his appearances on The Only Way Is Essex, Wright was a semi-professional footballer, with a youth career at Tottenham Hotspur.

On 13 November 2011, he appeared on Series 11 of the ITV reality TV show, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.

Personal life

He was engaged to Lauren Goodger,^[2] however the pair ended their engagement on 26 August 2011 due to Wright's claims that Goodger cheated on him during their relationship, a claim she vehemently denies.^[3]. In TOWIE, it was revealed that Mark had cheated on Lauren with his previous girlfriend and co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh. He is the son of Carol Wright and the brother of Jessica Wright, Natalia Wright and footballer, Josh Wright.
