Mark Griffin (born 19 October 1985) is a Scottish Labour Party Member of the Scottish Parliament, representing the Central Scotland region.^[1]

Mark is also a North Lanarkshire Councillor.^[2]

Mark gained cross-party praise when elected to the Scottish Parliament by continuing to serve as a Councillor without receiving his council salary to save the public purse.^{[citation needed]}

Upon his election at the age of 25, Mark became not only the youngest MSP of the current Parliament, but the youngest in the history of the Parliament..^[3]

He sits on the Local Government and Regeneration Committee..^[4]
