Mariinsko-Posadsky District (Russian: Мариинско-Посадский район; Chuvash: Сĕнтĕрвăрри районĕ) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-one in the Chuvash Republic, Russia. Its administrative center is the town of Mariinsky Posad.[1] District's population: 23,895 (2010 Census preliminary results);[1] 26,959 (2002 Census);[5] 29,069 (1989 Census).[6] Population of Mariinsky Posad accounts for 38.0% of the district's population.[1]
