(Raffles, 1822)The Barred Eagle-Owl (Bubo sumatranus), also called the Malay Eagle Owl, is a species of owl in the Strigidae family. It is found in Brunei, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
