(2003)"Make Up Your Mind" is the second single released by Canadian rock group Theory of a Deadman from the band's eponymous debut album. The song's lyrics were written by the band's lead singer Tyler Connolly and Nickelback's frontman Chad Kroeger. The song was the first by the band to receive attention in the UK. The song was never actually released in the UK Singles Chart or the UK Rock Chart but received big attention on the Kerrang! (TV channel).
Chart performances
The song was very successful, peaking at #13 on the Canadian Singles Chart and #13 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Chart.[1] The song reached #36 on Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks and #38 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks.The song received a lot of attention in the UK Rock Chart were it reached #7 and stands as only 1 of 3 song's to reach the top 40 along with their 2008 hits Bad Girlfriend which reached #11 and Hate My Life which reached #3. The song was also the bands first release in the Belgium Singles Chart were it just missed out Peaking at #41.
Music video
This was the band's second music video. The video starts off with a woman waking up in her bed and looking at a wedding dress. It then skips to a scene when the women is walking down the aisle, she then looks at a handsome man at starts kissing him. Later on she continues to walk down the aisle and stops to stroke a beautiful woman, she then yet again sees another handsome man and does the same as she did with the other man. After that she then looks at her fiance and runs and jumps off a cliff with all the guests rushing to the edge and looking as she falls. The woman then actually wakes up and yet again looks at her wedding dress. Theory of a Deadman is shown through the music video playing at the bottom of the cliff.
