- Dorothy Whitson Freed

Dorothy Whitson Freed (b. 10 February 1919, d. 2000) was an author, composer and music historian.[1] She was born in Dunedin, New Zealand, and was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit (M.N.Z.M.) for services to music in 1998.[2] She died at Wellington, New Zealand in 2000.[3]
