Monkey in Dolphin's Nose

The Dolphin's nose is a place that stimulates your senses. It offers a panoramic sight of the surrounding areas: haughty mountains, winding streams, and extensive tea gardens. On a clear bright day, you can view the Catherine falls from Dolphin's Nose. This popular view point in Coonoor gets its name from the fact that the peak resembles a nose of a dolphin from one side. Dolphin's nose is set on one of the fault lines in the district and offers a view of the plains in the background, forests on one side and of beautiful small hamlets of settlements in between these views. An irregular curve rounds the hill side which leads to a point where a flat rock projects over a terrible chasm of 6600 feet deep. A painter's paradise, Dolphin's hill is the nearest destination from all the major hill stations of nilgiri hills[7][8][9]
