List of Detroit Red Wings seasons

This is a list of seasons completed by the Detroit Red Wings professional ice hockey club of the National Hockey League. This list documents the records and playoff results for all seasons the Red Wings have completed in the NHL since their inception in 1926. The Victoria Cougars WCHL team was sold in 1926, and the players moved to Detroit to form the Detroit Cougars of the NHL.
