Deskins Super Market Stores, mainly known as "Deskins", was a popular supermarket in America throughout the 90's. Its main location for all manufacturing was in North Tazwell, Virginia, USA, where all products were made.
Beginning
The store opened in various areas and regions throughout Virginia and other places in the USA and was a vastly popular supermarket for its goods. Many people preferred this store over any other in the USA, which caused conflict.
Problems
Deskins was vastly popular in America, thus causing problems for food stores like Food City, Food Country, Food Lion, Save-A-Lot, and it even cut back on those trips to Wal-Mart for food or certain other items. Thus, causing conflict for customers, and every store competing with the other. This caused a lot of the stores to come up with other stuff Deskins didn't have, which would lead to Deskins taking a step farther ahead.
Even with its vast popularity, the demands for the Deskins goods slowly and gradually decreased and eventually everything fell through.
Closed/Replacement
Starting 2001, Deskins stores shut down one by one until in 2002, in which all stores were gone. Some of the locations went empty and were torn down, others replaced by other stores. Most Deskins locations were replaced by a store called Family Dollar, a clothing/food/electronics store that sells cheaper items.
As for the other locations where Deskins closed, the ones who didn't get a Family Dollar store had a Save-A-Lot opened in them, either that, or just was torn down and used for something else.
