Casey Deskins

Casey Deskins

Brian Deskins (born April 5, 1972 in Yakima, Washington), known as "Casey," is a former Minor League Baseball Pitcher who is currently the pitching coach for the Rookie-Level Gulf Coast Dodgers.

A Graduate of the University of Nebraska, Deskins was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 70th round of the 1993 draft. After two seasons in the Marlins organization, he was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He pitched for the Dodgers farm teams in Yakima, San Bernardino and San Antonio for three seasons.

After his playing career ended, he spent seven seasons in the Dodgers organization as the Major League club's video coordinator.

For the 2007 season, he was hired to be the Gulf Coast Dodgers pitching coach.
