Den Nye By 09/Sakin Live is a live album by faroese Alternative Rock band The Dreams, released on March 2, 2009. Published by their new record label Black Pelican and produced by Chief 1 (Lars Pedersen).

This album contains the same songs from their debut album Den Nye By, only have 3 new songs: Snob, Lorteliv and 25 (Den Nye By prt.2). Besides 5 live songs and the history of the band in an interview with theirs producer.

Two singles were released from this album: "25 (Den Nye By prt.2)" and "Ingen kan erstatte dig", this music video is a concert that they did in the Faroe Islands.

Release and reception

Following the huge success of their first album, The Dreams announced his live album through their MySpace scheduled for early March of 2009.

Before they releasing the album, the band released their first single "25 (Den Nye By prt.2)" continuation of the song "22 (Den Nye By)". This music video couldn't be located first in the lists, nevertheless it is a series of images of members in the Faroe Islands, showing the cities where they lived.

In Frebruary 2009 came their second single "Ingen kan erstatte dig", was successful in the DR1 Boogie Listen, but failed to settle in the first place, managed to reach the 4th.

Finally on March 2 came out the album, followed their grand tour of all of Denmark and Faroe Islands. Getting more fans in France and Germany.
