" 'The Dreams"' is an Pop punk band from Faroe Islands. The band has played together for four years and participated in 2008 in "Danish Melodi Grand Prix", where they ended as number four. Three of the members have played in the band Zinc (Hans Edward, Eiríkur, Heini), and the last member (Corfitz) played in the band Paradox. When The Dreams started, it was beyond them only one other punk band in the Faroe Islands.

In 2006 they released their debut album "Tazy", containing re-production of Faroese classics. Later, they were Eiríkur brother, Heini (better known as Corfitz) with the band. Then they moved to Denmark, where the particular participated in MTV Acute, which is an international competition. 24 bands participating, and The Dreams end up in third place. The Faroese boys participate later in the Global Battle of the Bands, where they end up in third place, again. Here they also met the Chief 1, which today is their producer / manager.

They have now released their first album in Danish (Den nye By), which has been welcomed by the Danish music audience. The Dreams' first music video, 'La' Mig Være ', smoke directly into first place on DR1s' Boogie list'. The smoke once again in first place with the video for 'Himlen Falder / Helvede Kalder', when they were in the top 3 every 10 weeks.

The Dreams are on their way to great success. And although the road to the top is hard, they are fighting for it.
