Delia Lawrie

Delia Lawrie

Delia Phoebe Lawrie (born 1966) is an Australian politician. She is a Labor member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, having held her seat of Karama since 2001. She is currently the Deputy Chief Minister, Treasurer, Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Infrastructure and Planning and Lands in the Northern Territory Government. There has been recent speculation that Lawrie will replace incumbent Chief Minister, Paul Henderson, after the former Deputy Chief Minister Marion Scymgour quit NT Labor, leading to a Territory minority government.[1]
