It is used by the congregation of the Gereformeerde Gemeenten in Nederland, a highly conservative denomination.[2] The church services are conducted using exclusively the Statenvertaling (Dutch for States Translation) of the Bible.[3] Almost all[weasel words] of the songs sung during the worship service are based on the book of Psalms.[citation needed]
Construction of the church
Plans for building a new church were first considered in 2005.[4] The construction began in 2007 and took 1,5 year.[5] The new 2,500 seating church is opened in 2008.[6] The church tower is approximately 47 meters high.[7]
