Musical career

Rees joined the influential[2][3] and long-running band SNFU in 1992, shortly after they reformed following a temporary breakup. The group signed to Epitaph Records shortly thereafter, and enjoyed increased success and popularity. They released three studio and one live albums during this time, and toured extensively, including stints with Green Day and Iggy Pop.[4] During this era, Rees also played drums in the Wheat Chiefs with SNFU guitarists Marc and Brent Belke and bassist Rob Johnson.

Rees left both bands in 1998 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, coinciding with Brent Belke's departure for similar reasons. SNFU continued in their absence, while the Wheat Chiefs disbanded.

Career in television

As an editor, Rees has worked on episodes of The L-Word, Whistler, The Dead Zone, The Guard, and Andromeda. He continues to work in the entertainment industry.[5]
