Founded in 1998 the artistic and musical movement "The Calchaquismo". The principal characteristics of which Calchaquismo, part of the meeting of the Argentine folk dance with the improvisation of jazz contemporary and the rock. Andean rhythms and dances such as the comparsa salteña, the carnavalito, the pim pin, the bailecito, the zamba salteña, the kaluyo, the Vidala and huayno, among others, are addressed from new compositions, arrangements and instrumentation. Take the name "calchaquismo" inspired by the airs and melodies from the Calchaqui Valley, Lerma Valley and Quebrada de Humahuaca in the Argentine provinces of Salta and Jujuy.

Biography
The love for music was inherited from his grandfather Jose María Tinte, recitations and songs bagualero. A native of Fuerte Quemado (Catamarca).
For 8 years he began studying piano and 13 to play popular music and form their first rock bands. Living in the south of the city of Salta, is part of the "Inter Consummation" (between 1986-87') and "The Time Machine" (1988-91').
He studied at the School of Music of the Province of Salta, where since 1994 the chair of teaching keyboards. Also that year he met the guitarist Oscar Echazú, who invited him to be part of his quartet jazz.
In 1995 the group "The Tune" began to experience the encounter of the northern Argentine folklore with contemporary jazz improvisation. Oscar Salinas bassist met and formed the jazz fusion group "The Region" (1995–2000).
In 2001 along with friends of the School of Music, creating a "Ensamble Calchaqui" group that gave Argentina music and his own compositions in Europe.
In 2000 he formed the group "The Street", playing modern jazz Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Bill Evans, among others. He was also a pianist in his solo projects as those recognized Folklorists Argentine Patricio Jimenez of Duo Salteño, Enrique "Chichi" Ibarra and Zamba Quipildor.
Own compositions began to show the influence of Andean folk music, jazz and rock in January 2003 and finally recorded his 1st CD called "Northwest Piano ", in which 20 musicians from Salta, Jujuy and Tucumán. Later discs: "Dance Of The Valleys" (2004), with the participation of comparsas salteñas: "Teuco New Generation", "The Tonkas" and "Civilization Huayra Callpa".
"Saltalogia" (2005), which musicalized nine major areas of Salta capital, giving each his rhythmic imprint. In 2006, cd "Variations Of The Puna", recorded in Buenos Aires and quintet formation, with the participation of musicians of the Symphony Orchestra of Salta. Finally, the discs "Jazz Calchaqui" (2007), "Incafonismo" (2008), "Live in Salta" (2009), and "Vinilograma" (2010) first class musicians involved Argentine jazz.
All these discs were released by a major music label Argentine and with very good critics.
Currently heads the Incayavi Aymara Rock Band.
