Libertarian socialismInternational affiliation International Socialist Tendency Website [1] Founded in 1997, the Revolutionary Socialist Workers' Party (Turkish: Devrimci Sosyalist İşçi Partisi, (DSİP)) is a Trotskyist party in Turkey. One of its leaders Doğan Tarkan has links to Liberation Movement, before 1980. DSİP declares its adherence to Trotskyism and libertarian socialism.
In 1997, DSİP was founded. In an opposition grouping within DSİP named Antikapitalist was formed following a split in the DSİP. The group had no relation with DSİP after that split.
The group didn't participate in elections in Turkey but they supported left-wing electoral alliances. At 2007 elections, they declared support for the independent candidates of Democratic Society Party.
The DSIP is the Turkish section of the International Socialist Tendency.
